Depending upon which features you get, and where you make your purchase, your camera can cost you anywhere from $100 to $1,000 or above. Hopefully the previous chapter has helped you to narrow down which features you need and which you can do without, in order to save any unnecessary costs.
The feature that will have the most impact on the price of a digital camera is the amount of megapixels it has. As such, it is very important to decide upon a megapixel count before considering any other features. After you’ve decided your megapixel count, you can move on to the less important features.
Here is a list of the rest of the features we’ve gone over. Grab a pen and number them in the order of how important each one is to you, starting with 1 being the most important and 10 being the least important. If you can’t decide between two or more features, go ahead and mark them all with the same number—this is just a list to help you see where your priorities lie. The list is as follows:
